Malachi Bowman founded Hayward Legal Group to make one thing true in Ventura: an officer who breaks the law answers for it like anyone else.
He leads the firm's police misconduct and civil rights practice. His cases turn on the record: the bodycam, the MDT log, the minute a stop became a detainment. He has filed against every agency in the state.
He also handles general practice matters, and reviews every case the firm takes before it is opened.

Tyler Lee
Leads the firm's personal injury and litigation practice.

Tyler Lee co-founded Hayward Legal Group and leads its personal injury and litigation practice.
He represents people hurt on the roads, in their homes and in custody. He builds each claim from hospital records, crash scenes and witness accounts, and he takes it to court when a fair offer does not come.
He also handles general practice matters, from contracts to business disputes across Florence and Hayward.
