02How it runs
How a case runs
The order we work in on police misconduct cases.
Step 01
Secure the record
We request bodycam, dashcam and MDT entries before they are overwritten, and identify every officer on scene.
Step 02
Test the stop
We measure each step against the law: the reason for the stop, the grounds for the arrest, the force used.
Step 03
File and press
We file the complaint with the agency and, where it is warranted, a claim in court.
Step 04
Correct the record
We seek dropped charges, a cleared record, compensation and discipline for the officer.
